Bobi Ezell
Bobi Ezell is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Wellspring Christian Clinic. She received a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Montevallo, a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Baylor University, and a Paralegal Certificate from Samford University. Throughout her careers as a music instructor and legal assistant, Bobi ultimately felt a calling to work with and help people. Feeling a lack of fulfillment in the legal field, Bobi returned to school and received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University, graduating December 2021 with high distinction.
During her practicum and internship, Bobi served as an intern therapist at Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services working primarily with adolescent patients in acute and residential treatment settings. She provided group and individual counseling sessions utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) techniques to help patients dealing with severe anger, anxiety, depression, bipolar, borderline personality disorder, self-harming behaviors, and suicidal ideation.
In 2022, Bobi joined Wellspring and has continued focusing on individual therapy for adolescents and young adults. Utilizing an eclectic mix of CBT, DBT, internal family systems, and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches, Bobi seeks to create a safe space for clients to process past and present traumatic events, discover internal strengths and resources and develop healthy coping skills to navigate life stressors, better understand themselves, and discover the best version of who God created them to be.
